2009 Ghouls Gone Wild
2009 Ghouls Gone Wild Parade Program
The 2009 Gazette's Ghouls Gone Wild Halloween Parade will be bigger, better and scarier than ever! The third annual event will be held Saturday, October 24th in downtown Oklahoma City and begins at 7:00 p.m. The parade route is the same as last year: one mile long, beginning at 11th and Walker and going south to 10th, east to Broadway and south again to 3rd Street. This year's Grand Marshals are 50s Rockabilly Pioneers The Collins Kids, and The Flaming Lips will again host their March of 1000 Flaming Skeletons.
We're expecting about 50,000 people from all around the region to attend, and we'll have more than 100 parade entries, including dancers, bands, arts groups and more! Oklahoma Gazette is also planning an afterparty at the end of the parade in the "Field of Screams." The afterparty will feature live music performances from Stardeath and the White Dwarfs and The Collins Kids! Plus, there will be a DJ dance party before and after the bands. Be there. All the ghoul people are doin' it.
